REVIEW : NYX CHAMPAGNE AND CAVIAR EYESHADOW PALETTE

For today's post I  am going to be reviewing and sharing swatches of the NYX Champagne and Caviar eye shadow palette.

Few of my friends have asked me , I am wanting to buy an eye shadow palette suggest me something, I have always named this palette among others. This for me is a must have palette.

All the shades in this palette have an amazing creamy feel to it, they dont have the texture of dry powder when you touch and they glide on smoothly on the lids. None of the eye shadows are chalky feeling.
This palette has a mixture of finish from matte to satin, and that diversifies the palette even more and makes it more useful.

For me it is a must have palette, its a great neutral palette with a vareity of shades from
Soft brown to Deep brown,Champagne to White high light shade, Mid tone browns to matte black eye shadow.

This palette is a must have according to me, weather you are new to makeup or a pro at makeup this palette has something to offer to everybody. It is ideal for daily office wear, and you can very well get day to night time transformation from this palette.

The pigmentation is on these eye shadows is very nice, most of the shades are cool toned and hence they are great base colors or overall lid color. They are easy to blend. I have read that few shades are comparable to URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE 2.But I personally dont own that palette so cant vouch for that. Its a good palette to have in your collection, although its discontinued now,  you might still find it at a couple of discounted cosmetics sites.

Even if you dont get this exact palette, as a beginner in makeup do try and get similar colors to start with day time to night time transition looks.

METALLIC GREEN EYES USING MAYBELLINE SUNBAKED NEUTRALS : EOTD, FOTD

Hello eyeryone.
This post is going to be my take on metallic green colored smokey eyes. Green is a flattering color on olives tones and brown/black eyes. I always enjoy wearing green on my eyes, as it compliments both traditional and  western wear. If i wish to wear it during day time I go for matte shades instead of METALLIC ONES{ ANOTHER BLOG POST}.So here it is hope you enjoy.
Here is the palette I used to create this look. Its an old maybelline palette called sunbaked neutrals and it has come in handy on various occasions.

 1. Apply the metal green shade all over your lids.

2. Pick some black eye shadow with the same eye shadow brush and apply it to the outer corner creating a V shape.

3.Add a medium brown shade to blend all the shades together in the crease.

4. Taking a small blending brush apply the lighter green shade on the inner corners of the eyes and also on the lower half. for the other half of the lower lash line with the same brush apply the dark green eye shadow and blend it well.

5. Add black eye liner to the top and bottom of the lids. And add some mascara. 

Tada!!! You are done.
