MAYBELLINE LILAC MAUVE QUAD EOTD LILAC SMOKEY EYES

I am back with yet another pictorial, and yet another look with the Maybelline's quad in Lilac Mauve that I recently reviewed.
I has mentioned in that post that I shall be showing more looks with the same quad. In the earlier post this is the look I created. You can see the post and read the review on the quad HERE

 For this EOTD I used all the shades from this palette. Here is a collage showing the step wise procedure to achieve this look.

1. After priming the lids with NYX EYESHADOW BASE I applied the darkest shade on the lids leaving the center of the lids bare.
2. Next taking the second lightest shade in the quad I applied it on the center of the lids.
3. After that I took the third eyeshadow( second darkest shade)and applied in on the inner corner and outer corner of the lids leaving a little bit of the darker shade untouched.
4.Taking the darkest eyeshadow on the eyeshadow brush I applied it on the lower lash line leaving the inner third for the lightest eyesahdow.
5.Taking a small blending brush lightly blend the eye shadows on the crease area and then on the lower lash line as well. Make sure not to over blend anything.
6. Taking the lightest shade highlight under the brow bone. Apply black eye liner and mascara and the look is done!

GRADIENT PURPLE USING MAYBELLINE QUAD IN LILAC MAUVE REVIEW AND EOTD

Okay here I am back with another review of a Maybelline product. I never realized I had so much Maybelline stuff with me!
The eye-shadow quad I am reviewing is an oldie. Its the Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in 110  Lilac Mauve.
An assortment of 4 shimmery eye-shadows to create the perfect look using the colors of the lilac/purple family that compliment each other perfectly.

I am generally not a fan of an eye-shadow quad having all shimmery shades, I prefer at-least one matte eye shadow, that said the deepest shade of this quad is not an all out shimmery shade so it works for me.

The packaging is very sturdy ad its very travel friendly. The lid snaps shut securely. And the lid is transparent so all the colors are easily visible.
These eye-shadows can be used wet or dry. If you want to intensify the look then go ahead and wet your brush and use it. But the colors are very pigmented, all the swatches are without any primer.

The texture is very soft and smooth and buttery feeling, despite being shimmery and a drugstore brand the quality really amazed me. These go on the lids effortlessly and blend even more easily. You need very little product to get the desired impact.

These are long lasting and there are few more variants in this I love the Copper Brown and Wine Pink. Do check it out. I did this EOTD using this palette.
