MAYBELLINE LIPSTICK IN VIVID ROSE 875

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to be reviewing the MAYBELLINE COLOR SENSATONAL VIVIDS LIPSTICK IN VIVID ROSE.
PRICE :USD $7.49.

I am sooooo in love with lipstick, I cant express enough.
Earlier I was having a love affair with HOT PLUM which I have reviewed HERE , here is a sneak peak of the color, in case you didnt read that post.

Back to VIVID ROSE.

AAAAHHHH.....I love love love it, its packaged in a silver lipstick tube with a neon red plastic cap on it,you cant see the color from the tube but the bottom of the tube shows the color clearly on the label  and when you open it...all you do is look at it.

Its so difficult for me to describe this color. Its like a rosy fuchsia shade with coral undertone, its like muted fuchsia lipstick. The color is exuberant and different from anything I own.

These lipsticks are creamy and rich in texture. They glide on smoothly, and make your lips look supple and full. They leave a satin finish on the lips almost shiny but not quiet so. They are comfortable and moisturizing  on the lips, and you wouldnt complain if you have dry lips too, which is a major plus for me.

The lipstick is opaque in the pigmentation. One coat and you are good. The lasting power on these lipsticks is more than the regular lipsticks in the COLOR SENSATIONAL line. They last a good 4 hours and even after they wear off  they leave a stain behind, and my lips felt moist.

There is nothing to not like in these lipstick. I wish to get my hands on all the lipsticks in this range when they launch in INDIA. Hoping its soon. You have got to love these lipsticks they are just too good to be true but threy are.

MAYBELLINE COLOR SENSATIONAL VIVID LIPSTICK IN HOT PLUM

I am super duper excited for this post. In case you havent already guessed my mood by the greeting let me tell you. This post is a review and rave of the Maybelline Colorsensational Vivids Lipstick.

I had my friend bring me some awesome awesome makeup goodies from the USA few days back and I am so excited. For those you have seen my earlier posts can very well tell I loveeeeeee me some bright lipsticks. I for some reason cant enough of these bright lipsticks.

So finally we come to this particular lipstick which has me enthralled for past few days...TAADAA....HOT PLUM.

PACKAGING: The lipstick is packaged in the standard color sensational silver tube but the difference is in the cap . Is neon red which sets the tones for the vivids range.

PRICE: These lipstick arent yet available in INDIA. In the US they are priced at $7.49.

TEXTURE:This lipstick is so creamy and smooth. It glides on like a dream. It doesnt cling on the dry areas on the lips. They are moisturizing lipsticks, with rich creamy texture.

COLOR: Girls dont get me started. I love these bright lipsticks to no end and this shade is a hot neon plumy shade which I adore and love and like and aahhhh... its so nice. Although the color is name Hot Plum its more of a bright pink with purple base.They are so insanely pigmented and they stain your lips after 3 -4 hours of application and/or after meals. I wasnt expecting much from these lipsticks with their staying power but I am over the moon now. Its almost a dupe for MAC's Daddy's Little Girl.

APPLICATION: Just one or at the max two swipes and this color is as OPAQUE as they come. The lasting power on these lipsticks is also very nice. They have lasted for around four hours with meals and also it did not bleed . Just a little bit of wear and tear after meals and that is expected other than that they have good staying power. This lipstick has very good pigmentation so therefore even after  the lipstick faded my lips warent completely without any color, it had a good color stain. What I also liked was this lipstick is creamy without bledeing on the lips and pigmented and not drying on the lips.
 Maybelline lipsticks in the color sensational line are truly color sensational and their lasting power had me totally impressed so has its texture. 

OVERALL VERDICT: OMG you guys....I have been wearing this lipstick from the past ten or so days. Will definitely try out more shades from this range. I am really excited for these lipsticks and the shades they have for the price point its really amazing. Though not everyone will jump for these shades  ( these being so bright) but I would definitely recommend you try . Nothing to complaint really. Getting such great shades at drugstore prices with great quality..I aint complaining.

To the best of my knowledge these are not yet available in India. But keeping my fingers crossed that they will soon bless us with this range.
